Dave's Diner is not your ordinary diner. It's
a "theater of
the mind" program that recreates the life-like aura of that "hangout" we all
remember so fondly. Dave's Diner is live, exciting and a return to what
radio used to be all about: entertainment.
Dave's Diner is open for business from 7pm to 12am ET Monday thru Friday. The
host and proprietor of Dave's Diner is radio veteran Dave
Sanders.
Celebrity guests frequently drop by the diner. Interviews have included Stephen
King, Martha Reeves, Shelley Fabares, Ed McMahon, Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere
and The Raiders, Petula Clark, and John Kay of Steppenwolf.
One of the most popular features at the diner is the hourly "griddle riddle" trivia
question. Also play along with "Beat the Clock" & "What's in the Till".
The diner also features "jukebox classics", as you would expect. Our special
tollfree number (866-DAVES DINER) allows listeners to callin their request "orders
to go", and allows plenty of listener involvement.
Dave's Diner is complete with a crew of "regulars", too. There's the exNavy
cook Sal from Manila, a mouthy Southern waitress Earline, the neighborhood
cop, Officer Mahoney and dishwasher Paula Molive spices up the diner.
Now you can visit Dave's Diner on the Internet at www.davesdiner.com.
The bottom line, Dave's Diner is a great way to attract both listeners and
advertisers to nighttime radio.
